” Method Section

The study will be short and will involve a small sample of individuals; the research will mostly adopt the qualitative methods of research. The method is suitable for the study since it offers complete description and analysis of the research subject which is child development without limiting the scope of the study and the nature in which participants are allowed to respond to the interviews.
Participants
The study will sample 50 parents from Fort Worth city in Texas, 20 parents will have children at the infancy stage, 17 parents will have children at the adulthood stage, and 13 parents will have children at the adolescent stage. Cultural diversity among the parents will also be encouraged to increase the scope in which the results of the study will be based on. As per now we already have permission from over 42 parents and waiting for approval from 8 parents, the study will use parents from the same region, but from different social classes to maximize the results of the effects of the different social contexts on children.
Procedure
The study will collect data using observation method, face to face interviews, and questionnaires. The interviews and questionnaires will be highly dependent on the objectives and the research questions of the study to ensure that we collect all relevant information from the participants. According to Powell, Fisher, and Hughes-Scholes (2008) interviews are advantageous to a research since the interviewer is able observe and identify the emotional feelings on opinions provided by the participant, this helps the interviewer properly judge the accuracy of the information provided. The issue of ethical considerations in research is very impo11rtant and the study will ensure that all ethical guidelines provided for a research are well followed. All participants of the study will be informed of what the study entails and will be given the freedom to terminate their participation if they feel they are not comfortable with the research.
Results
Data collected from the interviews and questionnaires will be analyzed based on content analysis where information that has the most relevant content will be selected for further analysis. Data analysis will also highly involve secondary methods of research where we will borrow content from different case studies and previous researches, analyze them, and compare the different findings. Literature review provides a great depth of information on the type of results that we should expect from the study; this provides a good perspective and understanding of the topic making it easier to choose the different types of approaches to use in the analysis. Subsequent to the attainment of the results from the different data collection methods that we will use, the study will use both the descriptive and predictive methods of analysis. The descriptive analysis method will describe the results collected and analyze the different implications the results have to child development. The predictive analysis will be used to make recommendations of future studies based on the results of the survey, the recommendations will also reflect on the best theories, methods, and processes of child development.
Discussion
The first aim of the paper is to analyze the impact of the different child development stages on the overall growth of a child; the first stage is the infancy stage. In reference to Kingston, Tough, and Whitfield (2012), infants have the fastest development rate both psychologically and mentally, when children are born they are not aware of anything and they have to start learning new visual patterns including the face their mother which does not take long. The recognition indicates good predilection of reflexes in the child making it easy for them to start adopting other skills. Kingston, Tough, and Whitfield (2012) indicate that children at infancy are also able to make complex perceptual judgments like distinguishing things by shape, color, or characteristics. A good example after some few months of social interaction an infant is able to distinguish between a cup and a chair, and an animal from a person. The study will look at how the social factors intervene in the Childs development for them to be able to distinguish such objects.
As an infant grows their environmental social interaction progresses from simple uncoordinated actions to more intricate coordinated actions like, trying to solve various physical problems by creating imaginations of the solution in their heads. Lack of proper social care and interaction at this stage can limit the rate at which a child is able to adopt social interaction skills. The second stage is the child hood stage; this stage involves children from two years old to thirteen years old, at this stage children begin to understand some words and their meaning after-which they themselves learn the words and begin to make communications with other people around them. The cognitive skills continue to increase and by the time the child is four years old they are able to communicate efficiently, at this stage most children join school since their minds are developed to a level where they are able to comprehend complex rules of communication and interaction.
However, there are children who develop slowly and by this age they are still not able to communicate affectively, the condition indicates lack of proper social upbringing during infancy or mental health conditions in the child. The study is set to distinguish such conditions in children early enough through observation and interviews regarding the behavioral concepts of the child. Once a child has had a good infant development process other stages become easy for them since they have developed social skills that help them partake different activities on their own. Adolescent is the last stage, this stage looks at children from 13 years old to 17 and 18 years, at this stage cognitive and psychosocial skills are already developed to a point where the child knows what’s bad and good. However, some parts of the brain are not fully developed leading to poor judgment of actions, at this stage most children get in trouble for participating in activities they thought were right. Parental interaction at this time is important as it helps the teenager make more informed decisions; continuous interactions make it easier for the teenager to decide on the right and the wrong actions. The study is set to verify some of these concepts as well as other factors that make up child development process. “
