In this assignment you will reflect on the readings and evaluate how they apply to your own experience and/or workplace. Everything you write will be kept private. It will not be sent to your employer or anyone else. Of course, after you put your thoughts on paper, you might decide to do so.

You were probably reflecting on your own experiences as you read the assignments from this week. This week you will write a letter to your hospital or work administration addressing the following issues. If you are not currently working, write a letter to a previous employer or to a healthcare facility with which you have experience.

Keep the letter to one page, single spaced, 12 point font.

In the letter state why the issue of spirituality in healthcare is important. State some ways you observe concern by hospital employees for patients’ spirituality enacted in the workplace. Are spiritual needs addressed? Provide examples if possible.
Does the hospital administration or workplace environment support the nursing staff and other employees? If so, thank them for the ways you have experienced support. If not, how can this be remedied?
This letter will be graded according to the Scholarly Writing Assignment rubric and is worth a maximum of 25 points. Be sure to refer to the following link to review the correct format for a business letter.
