TASK
Assessment Task 3 builds on Assessment Task 2.
Assessment Task 3 is an oral presentation.
• key points of the Family Violence Prevention Program that you examined in Assessment Tasks 2;
• key points of your SWOT; and
• a recommendation derived from the SWOT for a prevention and promotion activity appropriate for the community in which the Program was implemented. This recommendation would include an explanation of:
o the nature of these prevention and promotion activity; and
o how you would ensure the community engaged with the prevention and promotion activity.
In your presentation, you are expected to:
• engage with a digital medium to present your work to your peers (e.g. use MS PowerPoint or Prezi);
• ensure your presentation is audience appropriate; and
• engage with the audience.

This assessment task will assess the following learning outcome/s:
• be able to critically evaluate strategies for best practice when working in the area of sexual assault, family violence and associated trauma.
• be able to discuss the principles underpinning effective partnerships with community agencies when planning initiatives to address sexual assault, family violence and associated trauma.
• be able to respond appropriately and effectively to issues of sexual assault family violence and associated trauma at a beginner practitioner level.
• be able to lead community based education, workshops and provide in partnership mental health services in a professional manner.

• a recommendation derived from the SWOT for a prevention and promotion activity appropriate for the community in which the Program was implemented. This would include an explanation of:
o the nature of the prevention and promotion activity; and
o how you would ensure the community engaged with the prevention and promotion activity
