For this assignment, you will select a practice question or issue that is of interest to you and is directly related to nursing practice. This paper will begin with an introduction to the issue or intervention you have selected- including a rationale for why you chose this issue and background into the nature of the problem. For example, if you are questioning if a certain Fall Risk Assessment tool is more effective in reducing falls, then you would provide the background for why falls are an issue for the healthcare environment. The introduction/background to the problem should be substantiated by current literature (at least 4 sources) to demonstrate why this issue is being investigated. You will then write your PICOT question in proper format. Your PICOT question does not have to include a timeframe, if it is not appropriate to your issue. The paper must be in APA format, including title and reference pages, with a running head, page numbers, double-spaced in 12 point font.
