1. Research Methodology
This section provides the research methodology for your proposed research. This section has the following 5 sub-sections. Each sub-section should be adequately addressed and explained very well. This section should be approximately 1500 words. The references are not counted towards the number of the words.
1.1 Research Paradigm
This section should introduce what research paradigm you are using, and adequately define it using a reference and explain it. It should also provide reasons for selecting this specific research paradigm in your research. Thus, make sure the following information is covered in this sub-section:
• What research paradigm you are using?
• Define your choice of paradigm using an appropriate reference, and adequately explain it.
• Provide reasons for your choice of paradigm.
Must Research paradigm chosen Interpretivist
1.2 Research Approach
This section should introduce what research approach you are using, and adequately define it using a reference and explain it. It should also provide reasons for selecting this specific research approach in your research. Thus, make sure the following information is covered in this sub-section:
• What research approach you are using?
• Define your choice of approach using a reference, and adequately explain it.
• Provide reasons for your choice of approach.
Must Research approach chosen Qualitative
1.3 Research Method
This section should introduce what research method you are using, and adequately define it using a reference and explain it. It should also provide reasons for selecting this specific research method in your research. Thus, make sure the following information is covered in this sub-section:
• What research method you are using?
• Define your choice of method using a reference, and adequately explain it.
• Provide reasons for your choice of method.
Must Research method chosen Hermeneutics
1.4 Data Collection
This section should explain the nature of the data you are going to collect for your research, and define it using a reference. It should also introduce and adequately explain how you are going to collect data for your research, explaining the data collection process for your research (ie, various steps you will take to collect your data, and examples of type of data source you target). Thus, make sure the following information is covered in this sub-section:
• Explain the nature of the data you are going to collect (eg. Secondary data, etc),
o and Define it using an appropriate reference
• Adequately explain the data collection process for your research by explaining:
o The steps you will take to collect your data,
o What type of data sources you are targeting to collect data from (eg. project websites, government websites, PM forums, blogs, magazines etc).
1.5 Data Analysis
This section should introduce and define the data analysis technique you propose to use. It should also introduce and adequately explain how you are going to analyse data for your research, and explain the data analysis process for your research (in other words, various steps of your data analysis process). Thus, make sure the following information is covered in this sub-section:
• What data analysis technique you are going to use in your research? (eg. Thematic analysis, etc).
o Define your proposed data analysis technique using a reference.
• List and adequately Explain steps of your data analysis process
Note: If you are using Thematic analysis, lecture slides of week 10, the slide about “Steps of (Simplified) Thematic Analysis” gives you some idea regarding data analysis steps etc.
