Consumers as Cyborgs

Based on any of the learning materials in this module (i.e. this module summary, and/or the Brunstein,
Bishop and Vanderbilt readings), reflect on the relationship between technology and consumer critique?
Does the idea of an algorithmic culture, in other words, validate the critique, or does it refute the critique’s
(and Adorno’s) notion of mass culture?

the specific ideas, arguments, and/or concepts from the learning materials of this module; and (c.) your own
personal experiences or anecdotes.
