• 8000-word dissertation.
• The dissertation should be exclusively secondary data based (published research findings by other people).
• The title and focus of the dissertation should be on ‘Employee motivation in the home improvement
sector’.
• The writer has the freedom to design the research question and the aims and objectives that they see fit,
which the paper will be based on and they should be able to meet successfully (Note that they must be
associated with the home improvement sector and employee motivation).
• The writer also has the freedom to choose the methodology and methods of their choice that they see fit.
• In the analysis section please try to make use of software such as SPSS/Nvivo/or any other relevant
techniques.
• Look at pages 5-6 in the attached assignment brief for the dissertation’s structure (note that the
methodology should come after the introduction followed by the systematic literature review).
• Look at pages 7-9 in the attached assignment brief for the dissertation’s marking criteria.
• The systematic literature review must have 5000 words; the remainder of the word count for the
introduction, research methodology and methods, results, discussion/analysis and conclusions and
recommendations chapters can be distributed however the writer sees fit to meet the 8000-word limit (Note
that there is a +10% word addition should the writer require this).
• A guide on forming the systematic literature review has been attached if required.
• There should be a minimum of 40 references; however, the writer can go beyond this if they are able
(quality over quantity).
• All references must conform to BCU Harvard referencing format (see attached BCU Harvard referencing
guide).
• All pages should be numbered.
(I will attach the ethics form and proposal to the appendices section once the dissertation has been completed
and received)
