3. Your organization, Linda Designs Corporation is facing an accreditation panel of a regulatory body in the next six months. You have been hired to a newly created position of a Lead Project Manager to coordinate the projects at the headquarters to ensure that the organization is compliant and accredited. As you settle into your new role, you discovered that the organization has no functional Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP). The available COOP and DRP documents were obsolete and did not reflect the current organizational operations.
(a). Explain in detail the actions you would take at this point rectify the anomaly in order
to meet the organization’s goals. (12 points)

4. (a). Untrained personnel is costly to the organization. However, people remain the weakest security link in the organization. How true are these statements? Explain in detail.

are the different strategies you would deploy to strengthen the security posture of the organization? (15 points).

5. Othello Trading Corporation inherited a huge enterprise network infrastructure two years ago via acquisition. During this period, the organization has been running two parallel networks and has decided to streamline and align its operations and processes by consolidating the two networks into one functional state-of-the-art network infrastructure for efficiency, high productivity and stable growth. This entails redesigning the corporation’s existing enterprise network architecture to accommodate the acquired network. Your role as the Chief Architect is to lead this effort to move the organization from the current architecture to the desired architecture. How would you utilize architecture management plan to achieve the desired goal? (25 points)
6. Your organization, Zangote Industrial Company is moving forward with its plans to acquire two other competitor organizations and proceed to merge the three organizations into one enterprise organization with global coverage in Egypt, Canada, Brazil, Taiwan, and Uruguay. As the Chief Enterprise Architect of Zangote, the executive management has requested that you present an hour PowerPoint Presentation that would reassure them that the acquisitions and subsequent merger will worth the effort and financial investment. As the Subject Matter Expert in Enterprise Architecture who would guide them through the process, how would you reassure them that the plan would work? What are the essential elements of mergers and acquisitions that you need to point out to your organization? What is your advice for your company? (25 points).
