Greek upward mobility and Greek Bootblacks

My topic is Greek upward mobility and Greek childhood labor in the US. Childhood labor was associated with the earlier stages of Greek immigration. The challenge is to describe the process of how these children achieved upward mobility and identify a few of them. It will be fascinating if you could identify Greek bootblacks who moved up the social ladder. The paper must have a timeline of the early 1900s greek arrival in U.S, what was their purpose how did they adjust, and how did the childhood labor come in to place, you can talk about the padrone system. How did the children manage to live and what were their conditions. Paper length: 10 pages double space (excluding Bibliography).
