Literary Analysis

Write a three to four-page literary analysis based on one of the following themes:
1) Fall from innocence (to experience)
2) Journey Motif as a rite of passage
3) Changing Relationships (e.g. loss of friendship)
4) Growing of Age (from a child’s or young adult’s perspective)
5) Growing up as a form of self-invention
6) Displays of meaningful maturity
Decide on a specific thesis, then thoroughly develop the paper based on one of the following:
Oates, “where are you going, where have you been?”
King, “The body”
Satrapi, “Persepolis”
You can write about one story or compare and/or contrast two stories.
