Select a topic for your paper that interest you and research the topic in depth. It must have some
bearing principles of physics!! For instance, if you want to write about free fall make sure that
discussion should go beyond what is covered in the textbook.
Your paper should be 2 to 4 pages of written content (a minimum of 4 pages) typed, NO double
spaced, standard margins and standard font. In addition, include relevant diagrams, maps, charts,
tables and/or photos in your paper. You must use at least two sources (your textbook is not a
source).
Use the General Index (on computers in the Library) to find periodical references as well as
search engines to find web resources.
Books (not your textbook) may be suitable for background information, and government
(NASA) documents may be useful for astronomy resource information. Do not use
encyclopedias as a source.
* This is for Physics Lab, so the other topics that can be used are Simple Pendulum, Archimedes Principle, Conservation of Energy, Magnetism, and Spherical Lens.
