Critical evaluation of secondary data
As you continue from the literature review, critically evaluate the secondary data. Refer to the readings
of week 6 and main textbook. Consider your research question(s) and objectives. Decide the type of
secondary data you should use to answer your research question. Make sure that you are clear as to why
and how you intend to use this data. Locate the secondary data that you require and make sure that, where
necessary, permission for them to be used for your research is likely to be granted. Evaluate the suitability
of the data for answering your research question(s) and make your judgment based on an assessment of
its suitability, other benefits, and the associated costs. Note down the reasons for your choice(s), including
the possibilities and limitations of the data.
