Map the territory of your issue, controversy, problem, etc.
Questions to Consider (QtC): What is the history of the problem? Who has been and/or who are the most prominent voices involved in the issue? What has already been done about this problem; or what has been attempted?
Identify a gap in the conversation.
QtC: Do you agree with what has been done or is being done about your problem? Is something missing from the approach others have taken? What ideas, solutions, etc. would you propose? What two or three important questions have arisen?
Explain the stakes.
QtC: What does an audience have to gain from knowing about, acting on, or solving the problem? What do we have to lose if nothing is done? Why are these questions worth asking?
If compelling and appropriate, describe your WHY.
QtC: What are your personal stakes in this issue? How might you contribute to this conversation and integrate with the research/your sources?
Mechanics:
You must somehow discuss or use all 6 of the sources from the annotated bibliography.
Citations should be in MLA format.
Formatting should be academic (neutral styled and sized font; 1.5 or 2x spaced)

Content:
Annotate 6 of your most important sources.
Demonstrate you have a clear understanding of the writer/producer’s purpose of each source by summarizing the text.
If the text includes an argument, identify it.
Discuss the text’s relevance to your project, and your argument/stance.
Reflect on the text’s viability for your project and if it has any limitations.
Mechanics:
Sources should be annotated in alphabetical order with their full bibliographic information provided as a header.
Use MLA for source citation.
Besides summary, you should include direct quotation and paraphrase from the source text.
