Response Papers – (2 papers – 5 points each – total 10 pts) There will be two response papers about issues in
health (a list is provided for you to choose your topic from on the assignment tab). These response papers will
be in APA format. Below is the link for APA format and it will also be on blackboard. Please make sure you use
this link for setting up your paper. If you are unsure on APA format, please contact the Writing Center for
guidance. These papers will be 1.5 -2 full pages in length (not including your cover page and reference page).
Please do not use papers that you have use for other classes as it will be submitted through SafeAssign.
APA Template: Template is provided to you on blackboard along with examples for guidance.
You must use the emplate to receive full credit for this assignment. There is no need to recreate this as it is
given to you to use. Please make sure you use in text citations or your paper is considered plagiarized and you
will receive a 0.
Guidelines for each paper:
1.5 -2 full pages in APA format (if you do not meet the required minimum length points will be taken off)
Sources (3 sources minimum with at least 1 scholarly journal article)
APA format required – template on blackboard with examples
You choose the topic, but be VERY specific of the group of people you are writing about
(ex. Breast cancer in Caucasian women aged 20-24 or Heart Disease in African American males aged 50-60)
Topics to choose from for your Response Papers:
**Important: Please choose one of the topics below, however, you need to be VERY specific. You need to
choose a specific race, gender, children, elderly, etc. to write about. If you do not choose a very specific topic,
points will be taken off.
