Questions
1. What groups are you a part of where you play a leader role and where you play a follower role? How do you enact power in these groups? Which type of
power do you use most, of the six types: referent, expert, legitimate, coercive, reward, connection? How might power be important in a health communication
scenario involving a family, patient and medical team?
2. Watch the follower video, and tell your reaction to it. Have you ever been in a situation like this, and was it a positive or negative situation? Explain.
Your initial post should be a minimum of two paragraphs of several sentences each, and your second two responses should be at least one paragraph of
several sentences. In order to meet these requirements, consider typing your work in Word and then copying it over to the discussion board. Do not post your
discussions as an attachment.
